Erhardt + Leimer showcases its new product, TubeLight, a 100 percent inspection system in the NYSCAN product line that makes it possible to inspect printed webs with foil decoration, embossing, metalized substrates, and holographic images.

Ernest Schneider of E + L’s inspection technology division discussed Tubelight’s ability to work seamlessly with other products. “Complimenting Tubelight is NYSCAN’s graphical user prompting. Changes in inspection sensitivity can be made any time during production via simple slide controls,” he said.

The company’s new digital camera system is the Elscan OMS 4, available in a manual and a motorized version, and includes image stabilization, print screen and display of the last 16 images.
